What we collect
- Rentals (once kiosks are live): kiosk location, start and return times, amounts charged, and a payment token and limited card details (such as the last 4 digits) from our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Optional contact details: your email or phone number, only if you choose to give it for receipts or reminders.
- Messages you send us: our website forms open your own email app, so what you enter (name, email, optional phone, business details, message) reaches us as an email at [email protected]. The website itself doesn’t store it.
- Website: our website host (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics To be confirmed before launch
Why we use it
To run your rental and payment, send receipts and return reminders, handle charges, refunds and support, prevent fraud, and reply to venue, advertiser and contact inquiries.
Consent and marketing
We only send news or offers by email or text if you opt in (boxes are never pre-ticked). Every marketing message identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link; we process unsubscribes within 10 business days. You can withdraw consent any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the service, such as our payment processor, kiosk software provider, website host and email provider, or if required by law. We do not sell your information. Host venues receive totals only, not your personal details. Some providers may store data outside Canada; the list To be confirmed before launch
How long we keep it
Rental and payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Inquiries and contact details are deleted when no longer needed. Retention periods To be confirmed before launch
How we protect it
Limited access to our accounts and service providers with security obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct your personal information, or complain, by contacting our privacy contact. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Children
Our service isn’t directed at children. Children should rent only with an adult.
